Audrey Withers took the helm of British Vogue in the midst of the Blitz in September of 1940. Facing down bombing raids and the magazine's formidable New York editor, she would go on to forge a new identity for British Vogue. Eighty years after Withers took command, join bestselling author and historian Julie Summers to look back over Wither’s career working with renowned photographers like Cecil Beaton and Lee Miller, and explore the story of how Vogue was shaped for the latter half of the 20th century and beyond.
